Discover the world of Chinese art at the Louis Vuitton Foundation
The Fondation Louis Vuitton, located in the Bois de Boulogne, offers a complete immersion in the creative worlds of eleven Chinese artists. Start your journey on level 2 with monumental works of contemplative art by Ai Weiwei and Zhang Huan, combining Eastern and Western references. Level 1 presents installations, films, animated video works and sculptures depicting figures from Chinese society. Level 0 closes the exhibition with Ten Thousand Waves by Isaac Julien, an homage to Chinese culture, with references to calligraphy, 1930s cinema and other art forms, interwoven with various human interest stories.
